Frequently asked questions about living at North Campus Townhomes

How much is rent?
Your lease payment on a 12 month lease is $1,485.00 per month + utilities. If 3 of you are living here it is $495.00 per month + utilities.

How much do utilities cost per month?
On average the gas bill is $40.00 per month, the electric bill is $50.00 per month, internet is $30.00 per month. Total utilities cost is $120.00 per month or $40.00 per tenant if 3 of you are living here. (Water, sewer, trash and snow removal is included as part of the rent payment so there are not additional costs for those utilities!)

Can I have a pet?
No, sorry we do not allow pets. Over the years we have found that the costs to repair damages from any type of pet are often extensive and we can rarely obtain a fraction of that cost from offending tenants. So by not allowing pets we are able to keep our rent costs as low as possible and maintain a high quality, attractive townhome for every tenant.

How much is required for a deposit?
Your deposit is equal to one month’s rent, $1,485.00 per unit plus an additional $75 administration fee per person so the total deposit needed is $1,635.00. (If 3 of you are on the lease, it’s $545.00 per person.) If a renter has no roommates the total deposit will be $1,560.00.

Do I have my own parking space?
Yes! Each unit comes with 3 marked parking spots. There are 2 visitor parking spaces available on the property.

Is there a washer and dryer in each unit?
Yes! A full size washer and dryer is located on the garden level of each townhome (as well as additional storage space!)

Can I smoke in the unit?
No, we do not allow smoking. Again, as with pets, repair and cleaning of townhomes that have been smoked in is very costly.

How can I pay my monthly lease payment?
You can pay by check or money order. You can also set up easy, secure, online payments through Zillow (there is no cost to you to pay this way.) Simply coordinate with the landlord how it works best for you to pay rent!

Can I live at North Campus Townhomes if I am not a student or I don’t have roommates?
Of course! Keep in mind that it is a single building with a small, professionally landscaped exterior and there isn’t any designated space for outdoor activities. The spacious townhomes provide comfortable living for 3 or fewer people and as long as you can manage the affordable rent, you are welcome to call North Campus home!
